Qualifications:
* Local Candidates Only.
* BS/MS Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Material Science
* Working experience of 3+ years in R&D for new product development and product performance improvements
* Strong emphasis for fast product launch
* Working experience in epoxy and urethane coating formulation, characterization and application
* Experience with material physical properties evaluation - elongation, % modulus, tensile, compressive and flexural strengths, chemical resistance, abrasion resistance and adhesion performance
* Cement chemistry knowledge
* Strong problem solving skills
* Strong project management and time management skills
* Strong laboratory practices
* Experience in 5S
* Self-directed
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Duties:
* Evaluation of competitive products for benchmarking information and to help develop strong and relevant product requirements / performance attributes for new product development
* Planning and designing laboratory experiments and field trials
* Contact potential raw material suppliers for ideas and product sampling
* Work with Technical and Marketing teams for competitive products collection and handling
* Execution of above designed tests
* Data analysis including the execution of summary tables, graphs and project reports for communication with R&D management
